Hi! My name is Brandy Hall, I’m a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT#126661) and Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #9868), under the supervision of Janet (Bayramyan) Generales (LCSW #88575). As a wife and mother, I am passionate about providing therapy to couples, parents, and individuals working to heal family bonds; treating depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD); and helping people make transformative changes in their lives. As a mixed-race (African American and White) person, I firmly believe helping people identify disowned and marginalized parts of self and create and further develop self-identity is critical to the healing process. Finally, as the spouse of a combat veteran, I also have a special place in my heart for healing the wounds of our veterans and military families. My experience with counseling began many years ago when I desperately needed healing from trauma and the resulting depression. That experience helped me find my identity, find healing, and find a way to connect with other people who I loved, who loved me, and who I would later love. I hold a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology: Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and a graduate certificate in Forensic Accounting. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. I have experience and training in Emotionally-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and life coaching.
As an attachment-oriented and experiential therapist, I believe in the transformative power of human connection to bring about new experiences that can heal the broken connections in your life. I would be honored to help you on your journey toward healing – whether the brokenness is with your spouse, your children, other family members, or even with yourself!
