Alyssa Quiterio, ACSW
Hey there, I’m Alyssa, an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW #109859) supervised by Janet (Bayramyan) Generales, (LCSW# 88575) based in California. I want you to know that you’re not alone in your journey of healing and growth.
My path in therapy began with a deep commitment to supporting survivors of domestic violence, where I worked closely with community mental health organizations and non-profits. Through individual and group therapy, as well as case management, I’ve had the privilege of assisting diverse clients facing challenges in their lives.
I specialize in working with teenagers and adults who are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and various other obstacles. I truly believe that therapy is a powerful tool that can enhance your quality of life, empowering you to overcome even the toughest of hurdles.
Together, we’ll embark on a collaborative journey where I’ll help you identify your goals and equip you with the necessary tools to bring about meaningful changes. I understand that reaching out for help can be intimidating, so I strive to create a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you feel supported and in control of your therapy experience.
I’ve received specialized training in EMDR, Domestic Violence, and TFCBT, and I am proud to be a member of the National Association of Social Work (NASW) and California Society of Clinical Social Worker. My educational background includes a Master’s in Social Work from California State University, Northridge, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Child and Adolescents from the same institution.
Remember, your journey toward healing is unique, and I’m here to walk alongside you every step of the way. Together, we can navigate the challenges and celebrate your growth.
